These small stained glass window pieces range from 13" to 30"
These are patterns I adapted from some I had in books and these pieces were made as gifts or for clients.

The hot rod was done for a nice woman who wanted to surprise her husband with a stained glass version of a photograph of this hot rod.
When I began doing stained glass a number of years ago, I would take the photograph and through a very tedious method of scanning and drawing and re-drawing both in photoshop and with tracing paper, I would eventually come up with a pattern.
I now utilize the Glasseye2000 software for my artwork. This is a great art program for the serious stained glass artist.
If you have a photo of something you would like made into a line drawing pattern, email it to me and if it looks like something that can translate into a pattern line drawing we can talk about what I would charge you for the service. (It would depend upon complexity and time involved)
There are a variety of glasses in these stained glass windows.
I find it effective to sometimes do the main design piece of the pattern in a more opaque glass then do the background with a transparent glass.
This makes the design really stand out. |
